Space Shuttle Endeavour Over Disneyland

Kevin went over to the park to get some pictures of today’s flyover. He strategically staked out a choice viewing area right in direct sight of the castle and Matterhorn for those fabulous shots. Unfortunately, the shuttle flew directly over their heads so while he got some awesome pictures, none of them actually indicate they were taken at Disneyland. Ah well.

“Spaceship” Endeavor? Really Disney?

The crowd anxiously awaits…

And of course, the astronauts!

(clearly he’s a better photographer than I am)

WOW! Way better than where we were in NorCal, thank you Kevin! Love the astronaut photo.

Re: the sign. My first thought was, “They frickin’ spelled it wrong!” Gah!

Now that I’m done complaining, the photos Kevin took were great. Thanks for sharing them with everyone. I work at Kennedy Space Center and we were really sad to see Endeavour leave. But we get to keep Atlantis at least.

Well, at least they didn’t call it “Starship” Endeavor! Those are GORGEOUS shots!

In case you did not see them, the Los Angeles Times has a slideshow of the Endeavor/747 flying over Los Angeles and one of the shots shows Disneyland from above.
